JPA Furniture attend the official launch of The Green Triangle

ttending the launch of The Green Triangle on 21st May meant a bright start for James and Fiona, registering at 7.30am at the Building Research Establishment in Garston.  The Green Triangle is a partnership organisation which pulls together the strengths, skills, knowledge and expertise of BRE, Rothamsted Research, University of Hertfordshire, St Albans City and District Council and Oaklands College and dovetails entirely with JPA’s sustainable objectives.

The concept of The Green Triangle stemmed from the desire of St Albans City and District Council to provide a forum to raise the profile of Green and Environmental sectors which was a clear business growth area, not only for the district but for the wider Hertfordshire area. The Council approached BRE, Rothamsted Research, the University of Hertfordshire and Oaklands College to investigate how to best achieve this. Each of these organisations showed a high level of enthusiasm and thus The Green Triangle was born. Over the following two years, The Green Triangle was shaped to ensure clear, tangible goals which would lead to positive outcomes for both target businesses and The Green Triangle partners and JPA very much hope to be part of this exciting development.

JPA are proud to be a Green Triangle member and look forwards to developing our sustainable activities to dovetail with those of our
